Problem: A mid-sized organization did not have an effective mechanism for sharing information with employees and vendors located across the country.  More specifically, the organization wanted a suite of tools to:

Solution: Exactivate.com created a secure, web-based company portal to meet the needs of this growing organization.  Each department manages its own portion of the portal -- from posting content to granting user access -- thus making it possible to better organize documents, reports, and other resources.  To address communication challenges, the portal sends email alerts when new information is posted or upcoming events are announced.  With a central location to store and retrieve data, the company is able to easily manage its thousands of digital assets, which are available to both employees and authorized vendors.  Some features of the digital assets module include: automatic thumb-nailing of images, flash animations, video, and Microsoft files; the capability to convert files to other formats; and the means to resize images prior to download.
